A charming sterling silver vanity pot, fully hallmarked for Thomas Johnson, London, 1855.
The pot is in a near immaculate condition. The silver lid is in an excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the underside. It boasts wonderful foliate design to the top, within which stands a bird.
The glass pot is original, with Thomas Johnson's trademark star cut to the base, and also remains in a very good condition with only two very small chips to the inside wall of the glass, and one very small to the inside base.
