A stunning pierced sterling silver perfume bottle cover, together with a glass bottle of the period and later cork with white metal cap in the form of a rooster. The pierced silver cover is fully hallmarked for Sydney & Co, Birmingham, 1905.
The pierced cover has a central cartouche, with the initials 'NC' engraved, surrounded by intricate scroll and foliate designs. The bottle is glass bottle itself is very attractive and remains in a very good condition throughout, free from chips and cracks. The cork is later and is topped with a white metal rooster. The cork can be removed and replaced with relative ease but it is delicate.
A charming piece.
