A pair of large sterling silver salt cellars with paw feet by Robert Harper, London, 1865. The salt cellars are housed in their original case. The spoons are by Adie Bros and hallmarked for Birmingham, 1929; they are substantial in themselves weighing 8 grams each.
The salt cellars remain in an excellent condition with blue glass liners. The spoons also remain in an excellent condition.
The case shows some light wear to the extremities commensurate with age, but remains in a very good condition overall with fully functioning opening mechanism and hinges.
Total silver weight (spoons & cellars without glass liners): 139 grams
