A pair of George III period decanters, one Bristol blue glass 'Sherry' decanter and a scarce ruby glass 'Port' decanter, c.1790-1800.
Both decanters have their original faceted teardrop stopper with gilt painted initial. The decanters have a baluster shaped body, each bearing a gilt simulated label. The 'Port' decanter is slightly shorter than the 'Sherry'.
Both decanters and their stoppers are in an excellent condition throughout.
An unusual and attractive set.
