A lovely brass Pullman's carriage lamp with glass shade, c.1910.
The glass shade is deeply fluted with gentle flares to its edges. The top screws of the shade do not fully insert (please see photographs) indicating that the shade and lamp are a marriage rather than a pair, but they nonetheless work extremely well together.
The brass stand has a great patina which shows its age nicely.
An attractive piece.
