A 19th century tortoiseshell and gilt metal snuff box with leaf decoration.
The tortoiseshell shows some scuffing throughout and some wear to the gilt at the rim and interior hinge. The inlaid leaf decoration to the lid remains in a very good condition and the box still opens and closes with ease.
