A 19th century pastel portrait of a seated lady, housed in a gilt frame.
The frame has some small hairline cracks to the top foliate design but otherwise remains in a very good condition overall. The pastel itself is very well done, with exceptional detail to the complexion and eyes giving the work a three dimensional effect.
