A charming and surprisingly substantial 19th century oak candle stand / vernacular country stool.
The stool is of pegged construction with unusual turned legs. The wood is full of character and has a lovely warm colour throughout.
There is a small historic paint splatter to the top, otherwise the stool remains in a very good condition with all legs firmly attached.
