A charming 19th century novelty inkwell in the form of a pith / safari helmet.
The helmet is covered in a quality cloth with a black paper lining to the base. The inkwell is operated by pressing a concealed push button the front, and opens to reveal a brass interior with original bottle and ink.
The inkwell remains in a lovely original condition throughout.
