A charming 18th century English oak side table of good proportions.
The two plank top is of pegged construction with a moulded edge above a single drawer with brass handle. The whole is raised upon four finely turned legs connected by pegged stretchers, terminating in short feet. A historic label remains just visible to the back board.
There are some light signs of wear commensurate with age, most notably historic worm to the drawer interior (which has been treated in abundance of caution), and one interior drawer plank has been replaced. Generally table remains in a very good condition throughout, being of wonderful colour and patina.
A lovely practical piece of 18th century English oak furniture.
