The volume is fully bound in tan leather with gilt stamped borders to the boards, five raised bands to the spine, gilt stamped anchor decoration and black title panel. The boards show shelf wear to the extremities and rubbing to the boards.
Marbled endpapers. Marks from a previously removed bookplate to the front pastedown. There is some spotting to the preliminary pages but generally the pages remain clean and bright.
