Each volume is fully bound in a rich brown leather with five raised bands to the spine. Title and date of publication gilt stamped to spine. All page edges gilt. All volumes show shelf wear. There is degradation to the leather binding in areas, most notably to the hinge joints of some volumes. There is some marking to the top gilt page edge of all volumes.
The interior has some spotting to preliminary pages but otherwise are in good order throughout.
