This is a fine collection of Bulwer's Novels published by Routledge & Co between 1850 and 1855 (please see below for a list of the novels included in this collection and their publishing year).
Octavo. 20 volumes. All volumes are uniformly half bound in calf leather with four raised bands, blindstamped decoration and title panels to the spines. Marbled page edges. All volumes show some signs of shelf wear to the extremities, however all boards remain intact and all bindings are tight.
Bookplate of 'Ayton' to the front pastedown of each volume and some spotting can be found to the front blanks of most of the volumes. The text pages are in a very good condition, free from both damage and inscription.
