**RESERVED**
An extremely attractive William IV double sided flame mahogany library table of large proportions, with integrated writing slope to the front drawer, c.1830.
The table boasts one long and four short drawers to the front and 4 drawers to the rear, with the central long drawer being dummy. All drawers open and close with ease. The long drawer to the front hosts an integrated hinged leather-topped writing slope which slides back to access the drawer beneath, or can be removed entirely. The top is covered with a gilt and blind stamped black leather. The leather shows some wear in places but generally remains in a very good condition.
The wood shows some wear commensurate with age, most notably some fading to the rear right side, but remains in a very good condition overall with a lovely patina. The desk sits above four turned mahogany legs with brass castors, which remain in original condition. All castors turn and move the table effectively.
A substantial piece full of character; a wonderful centrepiece.
