SoldA sterling silver pocket watch by William Ehrhardt, Birmingham, complete with its original key and a glass domed display case.
William Ehrhardt had works in both Birmingham and Hatton Garden. There are full and clear hallmarks on this piece with 'WE' for William Ehrhardt, the Birmingham anchor and date stamp for 1895.
The watch has a key wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Warranted English Lever and is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch glass and movement are in a lovely condition. The enamel face has a very small chip just above the number 'I' which is only visible when the watch face is open. The silver has some light rubbing to the back detail around the cartouche consistent with age but is otherwise in a very good condition.
