A pair of late 19th century french gothic / ecclesiastical candlesticks, with matching glass shades. 'Made In France' is stamped to the base of each candlestick.
One candlestick has a very small split to brass to the holder (see photograph). This is barely visible and has no impact on the candlesticks' function but is mentioned for completeness. Both candlesticks remain in a very good condition overall.
The old glass of the shades has a wonderful bubbled quality to it and is very attractive. Both shades show some nibbles to the top and base from use, however remain wholly intact and free from cracks.
