A charming early 20th century oil on board titled 'Near Acle, Great Yarmouth', by John H. Cole - a British artist born c.1895.
The work is of good proportions, naive in areas but with some well executed details; the sky and the lady on the bridge are of particular note. There is a small paint loss (to the road near the start of the bridge) but generally the work remains in a good condition throughout.
The work is housed in a titled gilt frame of the period which has some wear commensurate with age but remains attractive.
