A charming mid-Victorian oak writing desk with a tooled maroon leather inset above a single frieze drawer with glass handles and key, sitting above four turned legs with ceramic castors.
There are some light scuffs to the tooled leather and handles and there is evidence of a small historic repair to the top (please see photographs) but overall the desk remains in a very good condition and is extremely attractive. The desk has its key and a working lock. The ceramic castors all remain in a very good condition and function perfectly. 'Barclay Bank House' is written in pencil to the underside of the drawer.
