A stunning Georgian mahogany chest of diminutive proportions with working lock and key, c.1760.
The moulded mahogany top sits above four graduated cockbeaded drawers with later swan neck brasses, the whole raised upon four bracket feet.
There is some wear commensurate with age, namely a subtle restoration to the back of the mahogany top (please see photographs). Overall, the piece is in an excellent condition with a beautiful patina throughout.
A lovely example of diminutive Georgian furniture, being of excellent colour, proportion and form.
