A striking 19th century mahogany serpentine card table in the Chinese Chippendale style.
The serpentine hinged top boasts a finely carved floret edge and opens to reveal a card table with later green baize. The whole is raised upon chamfered blind fret carved legs.
There is some fading to the table in areas, most notably the top and the base of the legs. The whole nonetheless remains extremely striking with intricate carvings and a fine glossy patina. The leg and top mechanisms functioning with ease.
