A George III period mahogany chest of drawers of diminutive proportions and glowing colour.
The rectangular moulded top with ebonised inlay is raised upon four long graduating drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, flanked by reeded corners, the whole raised upon four ogee feet.
The brasses are historic but appropriate replacements. There are some small areas of wear commensurate with age, most notably some marking to the top and some light scratching to one side but generally the piece remains in a very good attractive condition.
