A delightful pair of brass candlesticks in the form of standing terriers, circa. early 20th century.
Each candlestick has a finely cast brass dog upon its hind legs with glass eyes holding a candlestick within its paws upon a wooden base. A 'true pair' in that the candlesticks are mirror imaged. One dog has slightly more verdigris than the other.
