A large late 19th/early 20th century oil on canvas depicting a rural scene with a lady walking by a pond with sheep and a rolling hills to the background. Signed 'T. Morris' to the lower left.
The work demonstrates excellent use of colour and light to the landscape whilst the sheep and lady are naively portrayed. The work is housed in a later maple frame. The frame is stamped 'Gallery 23, London' verso, however as the frame is later, it cannot be said with any certainty that this work that was displayed within it.
The work and frame remains in a very good condition throughout.
