The more one looks, the more one sees with distinct fields and distant cottages with smoking chimneys. He also managed The Grosvenor Studio, a photographic business in Newton Street, Bradford, where he painted onto, or finished in colour, photographs of local worthies. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eHe drew much of his inspiration from scenes around the Stoney Ridge and Cottingley countryside near his home at Chellow Grange.\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKershaw exhibited prolifically with the Yorkshire Union of Artists and regularly exhibited at the Spring Open Exhibitions at Cartwright Hall. Kershaw’s paintings can be seen at Cartwright Hall, Bradford, Huddersfield Art Gallery, and the Hepworth Wakefield.
