A lovely golden oak multifunctional desk tidy / stationary cabinet, circa. 1890.
The oak cabinet is in its original condition with brass hinges and lock (please note there is no key for the cabinet) and curved dovetail joints.
The interior boasts four graduated sections for storing of documents or letters, a pen rest and space for an inkwell (in which an EPNS inkwell currently sits and is included). The fold out doors provide shelves for additional letter storage, writing or reading.
A truly lovely piece of antique furniture that remains very functional in today's world.
