A French brass field microscope with its original travelling box, which still contains six slides, c.1880 - 1910.
The microscope is in an excellent condition and functions perfectly.
The slides contain the following specimens:
- Hair of bat
- Antenna of grasshopper
- Poultry flea
- Leg of fly
- Human epidermis
- Onion peeling
An extremely attractive antiquarian scientific instrument, with historic slides created by the original user.
